Travel Concept
A quick trip from Tokyo to Kamakura, Enoshima, and Odawara.
On Day 1, stroll along Komachi-dori for snacks and souvenirs, visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, the **Great Buddha of Kamakura, and enjoy the sunset on Enoshima.
On Day 2, explore Minaka Odawara and the castle town’s local food, view Sagami Bay from the castle keep, and finish your trip at the photogenic “tunnel leading to the sea.”

Staying in the Enoshima/Fujisawa area makes travel to Odawara easier the next morning.
Day 2|Odawara(Minaka Odawara & castle-town food stroll → Odawara Castle → Tunnel to the Sea)
- 09:00–10:00 Transfer to Odawara Station
- 10:00–11:00 Minaka Odawara (Observation Footbath Garden)
The 4th-floor footbath garden is open 10:00–20:00 and uses hot spring water from Hakone-Yumoto. Free to enjoy. - 11:00–12:00 Food stroll in the “new castle town”
A mix of traditional and modern eateries, easy to explore thanks to the direct station access. - 12:15–13:00 Odawara Castle (Main Keep)
Enjoy panoramic views of Sagami Bay from the top floor. - 13:00–14:00 Castle-town walk
Local specialties include oden and kamaboko, traditional fish paste delicacies. - 14:00–14:30 Head to Miyuki-no-Hama (20 min on foot or by bus)
Around Miyuki-no-Hama, several “tunnels leading to the sea” can be found. One well-known spot is under the Seisho Bypass overpass. - 14:30–15:00 Photo time at the “Tunnel to the Sea”
There are 23 of these sea-connected tunnels throughout the city, popular as stylish photo spots. - 15:30– Return to Tokyo from Odawara Station

Samuel Cocking Garden charges after 17:00; Escar is uphill only and paid. Hours and fees may vary during night events—confirm beforehand. - Miyuki-no-Hama “Tunnel to the Sea”:
Access may be restricted or gates closed during high waves or storms; surfaces can be slippery. Check the city’s official FAQ for location details.
